Every GME patient will be covered by travel, malpractice, and hospital insurance. GME does not allow for uninsured surgeries. In addition, GME offers a cost-effective solution for insurers and self-insured organizations that reduces costs for everyone while providing the same first-class care.
In some cases, healthcare insurance will cover surgeries performed overseas. Travel and hotel arrangements can also sometimes be included. Patients must note that not all surgeries are covered by insurance policies and that co-payments may be required. Please check with your insurance company.

These risks are mitigated as follows:

  1. Strict emphasis on quality: JCI hospitals and US board certified surgeons (or their strict equivalent in a western European context)
  2. Insured hospitals
  3. Malpractice insurance
  4. Extra insurance purchased per doctor, per patient, and per operation
  5. Extensive personal care through GME's care managers

GME also has structured programs to help insurance companies and self-insured programs. These programs reduce the costs of surgical care, afford speedy access to surgeries, and reduce co-payments and ultimately the cost of the health insurance policy itself.
